If you are considering commissioning a custom piece of art, here's what you can typically expect:

COMMUNICATIONS
We will have sessions in person or via email to understand your needs and create the work of art you expect and one that you will be proud to own. You may have a wall or space that needs a particular size, style and color combination. Or you may have the subject matter in mind, with no consideration as to space, size, style or color. You may have examples of subject matter or styles that you like. We can use these as a starting point. I will do preliminary color sketches for your approval before the actual painting begins. I value your input, so during the painting process, you will be contacted periodically to see the progress and direction of the work.

PRICING
When I have all your requirements, I will give you a quote for the finished work. Because of the consultation time, preliminary sketches, travel, and photography that may be involved, you can expect to pay more for a commissioned piece than art you see on my website. A 20% non-refundable payment is required prior to beginning the commission.
